Job Description:

LINKS Recruitment Group is excited to be recruiting a Welsh Speaking Licencing Officer for a Public Sector Company in the Cardiff Area. The fluent Welsh speaker will need to understand, support and advise a wide range of customers who will be making enquiries concerning all Company services through multiple channels of access (Phone, Email, Webchat etc.). 

To understand, support and advise landlords, agents and tenants and training companies, who will be making enquiries through multiple channels of access. You will be responsible for resolving a high level of calls and enquiries and processing registration and licensing applications.

Duties and Responsibilities - 

  • To provide accurate, meaningful and consistent advice to customers, ensuring that
    they understand their legal obligations and the action which they should take. In all
    aspects of work to maintain accurate records.

  • To listen patiently, to empathise with the customer’s situation and convey a genuine
    desire to help and support. To ensure that the customer is clear about what you will
    act on following the contact.

  • To work with colleagues within the  team  and
    contacts across the 22 local authority areas to ensure the highest levels of first time
    call resolution and customer satisfaction.

  • To process, validate information, recommend for decision and issue registration and
    licences, in accordance with the Service’s procedures. In all aspects of work to
    maintain accurate records.

  • To undertake verification checks and maintain and produce statistics to facilitate the
    efficient operation of the service and to ensure that records are kept up to date and

  • To record and process any payments received by any method, in accordance with
    the Service’s procedures.

  • To deliver a consistently high quality service by implementing agreed procedures and
    actively participating in service improvement.

  • To work with current and emerging technology to enhance the customer experience.

 

Essential Attribute - 

  • Must be a Confident fluent Welsh Speaker
  • Possess genuine desire to help and support customers.
  • IT literate

Essential Previous Experience in –

  • Customer Service
  • Contact Centre Environment

The Package –

  • 37 Hours per week 
  • On rota Basis between 8am - 8pm. 
  • Monday – Friday
  • £10.21ph
