LINKS Recruitment Group are recruiting for an experienced Purchasing Assistant for a leading manufacturer based in Yatton. This role offers an opportunity to join the company at an exciting growth phase. A company that continues to invest in providing the highest standards of design and services.
This role will see you report into the Purchasing Manager and responsible for managing stock to ensure product availability to required service levels.
Responsibilities & Duties:
·Responsible for the management of correct stock levels
·Accurate forecasting based on capacity and supplier lead times
·Raise Purchase orders, analysing demand and production requirements and scheduled deliveries
·Management of open orders/progressing and prioritising deliveries
·Run low stock and demand exception reports reviewing forecasts
·Back order reporting, reason and action plan
·Investigate stock discrepancies
·Investigate and resolve invoice queries
·Introduction of new products
·Manage returns to supplier
·Good communication/IT and organisational skills
·Strong Analytical skills
·Ability to prioritise, work under pressure and to deadlines
·Driven, self-motivated with good time management and a focus towards continuous improvement
·Work under own initiative and as part of a team
·Embrace change and adapt with growth
·Ability to plan ahead
