LGV Class 1 Driver – Immediate Start

LINKS Recruitment Group are pleased to announce we have been appointed as the Recruiter of choice for a prestigious client who are seeking professional Class 1 Drivers for their business immediately.

Due to an increased demand of work, we are currently recruiting on behalf of our client who wishes to employ Class 1 Drivers to join their team.
 
Location:

Avonmouth, Bristol        

Working Hours:
 
Hours: 48 average per week.

Starting times between: 15:00 - 19:00

Rota:

Our client operates a 4-week rolling rota, whereby Sunday’s will always be a rest day.

Shift Pattern:

Week 1 - Monday to Friday
Week 2 - Tues to Saturday
Week 3 - Monday / Thursday / Friday / Saturday (3 Rest days - Tuesday, Wednesday & Sunday)
Week 4 - Monday / Tuesday / Wednesday / Saturday (3 Rest days - Thursday, Friday & Sunday)

This rota will require you to work 3 Saturdays out of 4.

You will be paid 48 hours per week minimum, even on your 4-day working weeks. For any hours you work over the minimum, you will be paid.

Position:

You will start from Avonmouth and drive to Barton-upon-Humber. There is no manual handling with this role, it is a trunking position.
 
Ideally looking for drivers with experience in Wag and Drag, although experienced LGV Drivers in other areas are welcome.

You will need to meet the following criteria:
 

• LGV Class C+E Licence (Class 1)
• CPC Card
• Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 points due to insurances purposes
• Able to agree to DBS check

Driving Assessments will be held at the depot of work and will consist of a theory-based test and a driving assessment.
