Drivers Mates

LINKS Recruitment Group are pleased to announce we have been appointed as the Recruiter of choice for a prestigious client who are seeking professional Drivers Mates for their business immediately.

Due to an increased demand of work, we are currently recruiting Drivers Mate to work as part of a double-manned home delivery team, delivering new goods to customer homes.

Location

Broken Cross, Douglas Water, Scotland

Working Hours:
 
Hours: 40-45 average per week.

Starting times between: 04:00 – 06:00 (AM)

Rota:

Our client operates a 4-week rolling rota, whereby Sunday’s will always be a rest day.

Shift Pattern:

Week 1 - Monday to Friday
Week 2 - Tuesday to Saturday
Week 3 - Monday / Thursday / Friday / Saturday (3 Rest days - Tuesday, Wednesday & Sunday)
Week 4 - Monday / Tuesday / Wednesday / Saturday (3 Rest days - Thursday, Friday & Sunday)

This rota will require you to work 3 Saturdays out of 4.

You will be paid 40 hours per week minimum, even on your 4-day working weeks. For any hours you work over the minimum, you will be paid.

Position:

Duties for our client include deliveries whereby you will be required to unload the vehicle and deliver the goods to customers safely and without damage. The items for delivery must always be handled with care and delivered with the best customer service.

The items for delivery are handled by a double manned team as they can be heavy. Our client’s priority is always the safety of its personnel and customers therefore, deliveries are always made as a double-manned team.

You will need to meet the following criteria:
 

• Punctual and able to commit to early morning starts between 0400 – 0600 (AM).
• Able to adhere to the outlined rota fully (3 Saturdays in 4).
• No issue with handling heavy goods with care.
• Can agree to a DBS check being completed.
• Will always adhere to health and safety by wearing your allocated PPE.
